Yeah, uh, all I can say is good luck on this one. He’s a tiny big jerk who’s not afraid to call you all sorts of nasty stuff and is generally very unpleasant towards other people. Kid’s got trust issues and doesn’t like being abandoned; doesn’t really excuse his brat levels and quick-to-judge hatred for nearly anything and everyone, but ought to keep that in mind if you plan on trying to go genuine friendships. In other words, he takes a really long while, but he’s not that bad of a guy once he gets accustomed. Not as bad as when you first meet him, at least. Oh, and if he finds out you were born or raised in Hoenn, yeah, be prepared to be called a rustic hillbilly and treated like a peon.

Easy. As long as you don’t like brats, rude people, people who mistreat pokemon or humans, or people who actively hate on an entire region for apparently no reason, then becoming enemies with Asher is like a walk in the park. Just say something against him and you’re already on his list of people to dispose of in the future. Bear in mind though, it doesn’t matter if you eventually become his closest friend or whatever; the grudge he creates is a grudge that is everlasting. It’s like forgiving without forgetting, except the forgiving part isn’t entirely sincere.

Well, this is a bit complicated. Asher’s a growing boy with little experience with people. He’ll most likely develop crushes here and there, but I highly doubt he’d be able to handle a real relationship any time soon. He’s a lonely kid who really does have some esteem issues. If he finds that someone doesn’t seem to want to rip him to shreds enough to not leave, he’ll probably develop some kind of connection to them (This also include family-ish feels and whatnot).
